Simply, thank you. I've had an especially challenging year, physically and emotionally. I'd been struggling to clear my mind and to find the strength to move forward, and had been fighting each night to fall asleep, or to return to sleep when I woke up around two a.m. To that end, I'd seen a physician, then a psychiatrist, both of whom had prescribed medications for anxiety and rest, which didn't really work. I went searching the internet for something, anything, that might help; and I downloaded a variety of materials from iTunes.
For the past two months, your podcast has been my constant evening companion. I think I know your voice as well as that of my closest friends. You often mention that you are motivated by the belief that your work creates positive change for others. The effort and time you've devoted to your podcast series is the mark of a gentleman who is genuinely caring and concerned for others.
So, I want you to know that your voice has crossed the Atlantic and found a middle aged, single mother in (City), (Country), who was struggling to find reason and purpose. (I'd just lost my job as a teacher due to budget cuts, my three children had grown to become independent, my mother - for whom I'd cared for 15 years had passed away, and I'd been diagnosed with systemic schleroderma - a progressively disabling disease.) Now, I lay down at night without medication and your voice guides me to a sense of hope and peace. I do not dread going to bed, fearing that I'll be held captive by racing thoughts which I seem unable to control. Your inductions help me release muscle tension and I am able to stay asleep longer without being awakened by pain. When I get up in the morning, it is with hope and a far brighter outlook.
Your work has been a blessing. Simply, thank you.
Such wonderful feedback!
