A ‘Wizard’

I’ve got a story to tell you and make of it as you will.

‘The Wizard’

I believe we all have a ‘Wizard’ in our life, so hold on and let me go a little deeper.

A little boy I knew had his own ‘Wizard’ without realizing it, as we all do. The boy was an unconfident boy, a boy who seemed to struggle in most areas of his life. But as his life began to unfold there was a common theme that began to grow. But what would you define as a ‘Wizard’?

Maybe mythical? or just maybe simple characteristics such as wisdom, strength, support, guidance without judgement?

This boy had the latter, but with out realizing it.

Naturally the ‘Wizard’ had a big role to play in the young boy’s life. All young people only have the wisdom of their years. However the ‘Wizard’ went by life through his greater experience.

But the ‘Wizard’ was in a sense a double edge sword. The boy thought he knew best, as did the ‘Wizard’ which would a create conflict at times. But who was right? Well both and neither.

What? How both and neither?

Well the ‘Wizard’ went through by his past experience, but with that came restrictions with thinking, whereas the boy had fresh ideas but not necessary the experience and learnings to back it up.

As time grow the two began to realise each others areas were equally important and in order to really succeed both had to integrate their thoughts and ideas.

The ‘Wizard’ gave the boy lots of support and love to the boy’s purpose in life. The ‘Wizard’ would talk about a ‘Wizard’ that set him off on his journey. How he integrate learnings from his own ‘Wizard’ but without knowing it he became a ‘Wizard’ in the progress of his life.

And having become the ‘Wizard’ himself he began to teach others and especially the child, who then became an adult. Through that guidance and teaching the now young adult began to help and teach others the best he could with the knowledge he had been given.  He would talk about the ‘Wizard’ to those he taught and then he realised the new theme.

Those who have a special ‘Wizard’ in their life (which I believe we all do) begin to realize and act out their true potential, and also begin to pass knowledge and wisdom to others and in avertedly become a ‘Wizard’ too. The unconfident boy, a boy who seemed to struggle in most areas of his life became his potential and the ‘Wizard’ of his destiny.

Who was the boys ‘Wizard?’ Well I leave that for you decide, but the ‘Wizard’ knows. But what about your ‘Wizard’?

Is it a family member? a friend? a partner? your unconscious mind ? even you?

Be the Wizard of your life.

Justin Timberlake suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

I read today that Justin Timberlake suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) – and the anxiety-based condition seems to be taking over his life.

Justin Timberlake would be a fantastic client that I’d like to take on and let go of the OCD within an hour or so

How though?

Well Justin’s thought patterns have developed habits which are accompanied with anxiety. The more he has the obsessive thoughts the greater the anxiety and the more he’ll continue the behaviour of OCD.

When I work with my celebrity clients and everyday people I can begin to reprogram the mind to resolve the OCD. His OCD is pretty much like a Audio CD continually being played on repeat. I simply scratch the CD so much that it can not be played anymore and then install new positive thought patterns which allow my clients to have the freedom that they deserve.

The SexyBack singer claims that he is overly-obsessed with neatness and often spends hours making sure objects are lined up perfectly, but the stress that comes with the disorder is often debilitating.

The article also said that other stars including Jessica Alba, David Beckham, and Cameron Diaz have all confessed to suffering from forms of OCD – which is characterised by obsessive thoughts, compulsions or rituals.

So Justin when will you decide to simply let go of it. After all I can guarantee my results – no success no fee.

How Hypnosis reduces Chronic Pain

I get the question about pain control and using Hypnosis a fair bit. People say naturally you can control, change and resolve psychological problems but how about the pain of the biological body?

Well to me it’s simple.

Your mind and body is completely interconnected. Long gone are the days that we saw the body as a machine which is separate from our mind. It’s easy to understand with the following examples:

How many depressed people have lots of energy and can’t stop getting things done? None.

How many amazingly fit people are depressed? Few.

Why because when the mind is depressed the body becomes also depressed. And vice versa when our body is fit and energetic our mind tends to be the same.

But how can we manage pain?

Well the pain that we have is a signal to us that a part of the body is hurt or injured and its needs our conscious attention – after all if we didn’t feel the pain we would do more damage to the injured body. The pain also tells us we need to rest and heal ourselves, so the pain puts us out of action until we are back to our healthy selves.

Sometimes however our body sends us too many signals even when we have received the communication to rest and we are resting. Also sometimes there is psychological pain, hence sometimes when we have been through psychological trauma our body can have many sypmtoms from shaking to even vomiting if the event makes us sick to the stomach – that emotional pain can stay with us if we don’t choose to work on it.

Through Hypnosis we can:

- Get back in control of the pain so that we can manage it and even turn the pain down – having just the right amount to let us know we need to be careful
- We can also resolve the psychological aspects of the pain which then resolves the physical pain.
- Change your focus to excellent health

After to all, if we change our mind we change our body, if we change our body we change our mind.

Hypnosis can be the key in reconnecting us to the control over our unconscious processes such as pain to achieve our outcomes.

You are the conscious goal setter and your unconscious is the goal getter. So if you set your mind and focus on pain you get…….pain. If you set your mind and focus on control and health you get………freedom.

What stops you achieving your dreams?

What stops you achieving your dreams and how long are you prepared to let it stop you?

That’s right, how long are you prepared to let it stop you?

With all the respect I can give, I believe we are our only limitation. We only usually perceive them to be external things if we allow them too.

What?

First of all think about what is your dream? What are your outcomes in life? If you could achieve the most realistic (But then again who defines realistic) amazing goals in life what would they be?

I’d write them down……

And what stops you going for it and achieving it?  At this point you may be getting reasons or in my world ‘excuses’ as they only give you reasons/excuses as to why you haven’t got your goal yet. It’s a natural response we all have from time to time.

But having found out our excuses we shouldn’t just let them be and give up on our dreams should we?

I’ve got a question for you….. If you had just twelve months to live would you allow those ‘excuses’ to get in the way of your wildest dreams?
No – I would doubt it. I am sure you would do all you can, even if there are things in the way stopping you, you would do anything in your power to overcome those hurdles.

But why?

Because the values have changed, in one situation you have the rest of your life the other you have twelve months to live. But in reality each situation has the exact same excuses or reasons but one situations refuses to allow them to get in the way.

Interesting isn’t? We are our only limitation.

If you don’t know your dreams or goals that you want to achieve in life, imagine having god like powers, what would you desire?

Would it be finances? Your soul mate? A new career? Vibrant health? The list is endless but whatever happens we should be aiming for the big goals in life that we want to achieve. And thinking like we have godly powers takes us beyond those limitations and reasons.

Question came from me to me the other night and maybe you should ask yourself this too.

What have you done today to change your life and the world for the better?

Celebrities use Hypnosis to quit smoking

Is it time for you to quit smoking?

Guess what is was time for many celebrities to quit smoking too….

Samuel Jackson, Drew Barrymore, Ellen Degeneres, , Ben Affleck and Matt Damon stopped smoking and but how did they do it……………. You guesed it with Hypnosis

But why is Hypnosis so great with quitting the cigarettes for good?

Well we smoke for lots of reasons – stress, boredom, socializing, let alone pure habit.

Public Speaking fear to Public Speaking excellence

Public speaking can be a massive concern for many people; in fact there have been recent studies that people fear Public Speaking more than the fear of death.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. I too once had a big fear of public speaking, I would become self conscious, blush and feel all the attention was on me, however now I talk in front of big crowds and just love being in front of people.

So how can you change your fear of public speaking to the love of public speaking?

Well first of all, it’s all about what’s happening inside of your mind. Many people tend to create images of all the things that could go wrong, having negative and doubting thoughts, which leads to the body to create all the symptoms of a phobia – its time to get back the control.

Here are my quick fire tips for speaking confidently with presence:

  • Visualize and mental rehearse your presentation being charismatic and successful as if it was a real experience – feel the feelings of how good it would feel.
  • Don’t think: How can I survive this? Instead think: How can I do this brilliantly?
  • Use eye contact with each member of the audience in turn.
  • Preparation prevents panic—knowing your material well will really boost your confidence
  • Never memorize your speech word for word, simply know your key points – even create a mind map of those key points.
  • When talking imagine projecting your voice over and past your audience – this creates that magical presence as confident speaker.
  • If you make a mistake – who cares, it happens, simply carry on or correct it without apologizing
  • Be passionate about what your talking about, as audience will know your authentic and will be left wanting more.
  • And finally allow talking to people to become a fun process, after all it truly is.

Hypnosis – what is it?

Hypnosis is a profound state in which we have access to the unconscious mind.

But why would you want to have access to your unconscious mind?
Why would it be of value?

Well, if you were consciously in control to let go of an issue you would- wouldn’t you? Of course you would, if you could I’m sure you would let go of it in a heartbeat.

But there are some things which may be beyond our control, such as overwhelming negative emotions, limiting beliefs such as ‘I’m not good enough’ or unwanted behaviours which, no matter how hard we try, seem to be unmovable.  That’s because they are being run at the unconscious level.

Why would our own body run things which seem negative, limiting and in some cases are downright stupid?

Well, no matter how horrible an issue is, there is always a positive intent. For example, a phobia is trying to protect someone, but it’s just doing it in an overwhelming way.  Some issues may have been imprinted on us since our childhood, such as beliefs about ourselves. If we go through negative childhood experiences (even negative adult experiences), maybe feeling we weren’t good enough, or if we were continually told that that we were stupid, our unconscious mind may just take those beliefs on as the truth. So although issues or behaviours you have may not be very nice, they will always, always, always have a positive intent. I promise. (Did I stress that enough?) 

However, what if I told you there was a key to unlock your true potential and take back the control of your issues so that you could live the life you wish, being free of limitations?

And not only that, keep the positive intentions but generate new positive beliefs, feelings and behaviours which are in alignment with you consciously.

With that key what would you change?

Well Hypnosis to me seems to be the key, as it bypasses our conscious mind to work directly with our unconscious mind, the area of the brain which runs the issues. However, I think Hypnosis has been overlooked in the sense that we use it to only concentrate on letting go of things (i.e. let go of weight, let go of smoking, let go of phobias) the list is endless. But wait, lets flip that for a moment and think what could we evolve, grow or enhance too – maybe our learning abilities, our hobbies, confidence, even our communication to levels that are beyond excellence.

Utilising hypnosis we are able to change your mind, therefore your results.

Hypnosis has been around for thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians had the Temples of Sleep, and the Greeks their Shrines of Healing – both places where patients were given curative suggestion while in an induced sleep.

They all had the common important element, which was creating a “suggestion” that the patient’s conscious and subconscious mind, would “accept”, thus utilizing the patients “power of belief”.  Believing that they were being healed, this alone would put their own mind power to work, healing them.

In the Indian Book of “Law of Manu”  was the ancient Sanskrit Science of the Indian people, which has writings of Hypnosis and the different levels of consciousness graduation “The Sleep – Waking State,” “The Dream -Sleep,” and the “Ecstasy – Sleep State.
 
So we’re not dealing with a new science here- we’re dealing with an ancient form of healing which has stood the test of time, and further. To this present day Hypnosis is being used in the medical industry as a form of complimentary medicine. For example, hypnosis can be used as an alternative to anesthetics in the cases of anesthetic allergies or operations where anesthetics are unable to be used.

The wonderful thing about hypnosis is that also, you’re not asleep and you are in control and will not do anything against your will, in fact it may not feel any different from your waking state, yet through my CD’s we can imprint your unconscious mind with empowering suggestions that give you all the strong beliefs, resources and behaviors you need to be the real you.

I am so passionate about hypnosis that I want to help as many people as possible. That’s exactly why I have produced these CDs. I also run seminars and write about hypnosis. Lily Allen has gone from size twelve to size eight using Hypnosis.

Lily Allen has been quoted to say: “After the hypnotism, I want to go to the gym every day, otherwise I feel really bad.”

Taking responsibility for self change

‘Cause and effect’ is a way of thinking that a ‘cause’ (an action) will lead to an ‘effect’ (a consequence)

So what side of the equation are you in life?

Are you just an ‘effect’ of all that is around you?

Do you know someone who says “everything happens to me” or “Bad things always happen to me” or “it’s just what life has dealt me”?

Well those are just examples of someone just being an effect of life, allowing life to have an effect on them, pushing all options of self change, outside of themselves. By thinking and acting in an ‘effect’ mindset, the person simply continues to re-affirms their situation – not having the life they wish.

Now imagine if you move on to the ‘cause’ side of the equation, where you take responsibility for everything in your reality, your job, your relationship, your life, your issues in such an empowering way that you take control and start causing fabulous effects.

Rather pushing your problems outside of your control (like being at ‘effect’), you now begin to own them; you take responsibility to start making important changes in your life. This in turn starts to create new empowering beliefs and thoughts knowing you have the ability to change your life I you desire.

What a buzz that would be. It would mean you can begin to own and create life changing effects to have a perfect life, relationship, job, money and health.

Remember you are not just a product of life; life is just the product of you!
